The game between the San Jose Sharks and Ottawa Senators will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on Monday, November 21 at 10:30 PM ET.
The San Jose Sharks will welcome the Ottawa Senators to the SAP Center for an NHL game on Monday. San Jose lost their last game 2-1 to the New York Rangers. Logan Couture was the only Sharks player to score a goal as none of his teammates were able to get past Igor Shesterkin in the Rangers net as he made 22 saves.
Sharks coach David Quinn spoke after the game and said, “It was a step back tonight. 82 games, you’re gonna have nights off. ‘Okay, let’s see how we respond.’ That’s the key. But we stunk. It hasn’t happened in a long time. So, let’s see how we respond on Monday.”
The Ottawa Senators on the other hand were thrashed 5-1 by the New Jersey Devils in their last game. Derrick Brassard scored the only goal for the Senators as they were condemned to their 10th defeat of the season.
Senators captain Brady Tkachuk said, “It’s nobody to blame but ourselves, the players. We just weren’t ready to play today and that’s my job to get everybody ready and I’m sick and tired of seeing all this negativity on social media and all that. It’s not one person, it’s the group in here that needs to figure it out.”
