The game between the Ottawa Senators and Vegas Golden Knights will take place at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada on Thursday, November 3 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Ottawa Senators will welcome the Vegas Golden Knights to the Canadian Tire Centre for an NHL game on Thursday. Ottawa lost their last game 4-3 to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Goals from Dylan Gambrell, Claude Giroux and Mathieu Joseph were not enough as the Senators lost the game by one goal.
Mathieu Joseph, who scored one goal, spoke after the game and said, “I don’t know if we should have won this game, that’s a good team and they don’t panic out there. I think we were just a little bit immature in the way we finished the game here.”
The Vegas Golden Knights on the other hand won an overtime thriller as they beat the Washington Capitals 3-2. Shea Theodore scored in overtime with Jack Eichel and William Carrier scoring the other two goals as Vegas edged a thrilling game. Goaltender Logan Thompson finished the game with 19 saves and a .905 save percentage.
Logan Thompson said after the game, “We’re a veteran group, so we’re never going to be out of the fight. These guys, they know how to win and were confident coming in here after the second period that we were going to find a way to get two points tonight.”
