The Montreal Canadiens on the other hand defeated the Calgary Flames 2-1 in their last game after the match went into shootout. Josh Anderson scored the goal in regulation time and Nick Suzuki and Kirby Dach scored in the shootout to give Canadiens the win and in the process help them win their 14th game of the season.
