The game between the Ottawa Senators and Dallas Stars will take place at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Ottawa Senators will welcome the Dallas Stars to the Canadian Tire Centre for an NHL game on Monday. Ottawa destroyed the Arizona Coyotes as they recorded a 6-2 win with Brady Tkachuk scoring two goals. Tyler Motte, Shane Pinto, Mark Kastelic and Josh Norris scored the other goals for the Senators.
Arizona Native, Mark Kastelic who scored a goal, said after the game, “It was pretty special to play against them for the first time. I skate with a lot of those guys in the summer, and it was just kind of a full-circle moment for me and my parents as well. They came in from Arizona and it’s really exciting that we got the win, but we have to put it behind us now and look forward.”
Joe Pavelski scored a hat trick as the Dallas Stars recorded a 5-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens in their last game. Jason Robertson and Esa Lindell scored the other two goals as Dallas won the game comfortably.
Dallas coach Peter BeBoer was singing praises of Pavelski after the game. Speaking to the press, he said, “It’s incredible what he’s doing. He looks exactly like he did five, six years ago, like the clock stopped. And he looks like he could do it for another five years. It’s hard to explain, he’s just a special athlete.”
