On March 11, 2024, the New Jersey Devils will play the N.Y. Rangers. The current season has not been great for the Devils (31-29-3-1). They’re eight points behind the final wildcard spot. Lately, they’ve lost four of five games. It’s not all bad though. Jack Hughes their star center has notched 62 points in 48 games. Nico Hischier is back from injury to help adding 48 points this season. The team has seen a shift in goalies with Kappo Kahkonen stepping in for Vitek Vanecek.
The N.Y. Rangers are doing great this season with a record of 41-18-1-3. Despite a slight downswing recently they are number one in their division. Their last five games brought 2 wins and 3 losses. But at home, it’s a different story they’ve won 22 out of 30 games. Artemi Panarin, the winger is leading the group in points. He’s got 87 so far and we can’t forget about Vincent Trochek and Mika Zibanejad. They’re important pieces of the success puzzle too.
