The match between the Nashville Predators vs Dallas Stars will take place at Bridgestone Arena on Thursday, October 13 at 8:30 PM ET.
The 2022 NHL Global Series gave the Predators four points and a lifetime of memories; they will play the Dallas Stars on Thursday at Bridgestone Arena to begin their 2022–23 home schedule. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. CT, and ESPN+/Hulu will broadcast the game nationally.
On Thursday at 3:30 p.m., fans are invited to gather in the Bridgestone Arena Plaza to watch the Predators walk the Gold Carpet before the start of their 2022–23 home schedule. There is no specific ticket needed to enter the plaza. The Predators completed their 23-man roster this week, resumed practices after sweeping the San Jose Sharks in two games in Prague, and Bridgestone Arena introduced a number of new improvements and food choices in advance of Thursday’s home opener.
In Nashville, Dallas will open its 2022–23 campaign as head coach Peter DeBoer begins his first year in charge of the Stars. Dallas had a last season record of 46-30-6 overall and 14-8-4 in division play. With a record of 31-17-(1)-2 at Bridgestone Arena, the Predators have a 48-46-(1)-5 overall record versus the Stars. Nashville and Dallas will face each other four times in 2022–2023, with two of those games taking place at home. When the Predators visit Dallas on Saturday, they will play their Central Division rivals twice in the course of three days.
