The game between the Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Montreal Canadiens will welcome the Buffalo Sabres to the Bell Centre for an NHL game on Tuesday. Montreal beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-4 in their last game. Cole Caufield scored a brace while Christian Dvorak and Mike Matheson scored one goal each as the Canadiens registered their ninth win of the season.
Cole Caufield said after the game, “I feel like we’ve had some practice with that a little bit last year and this year, so it’s something we obviously work on in practice and talk about. But in those situations, you just have to make reads and hope for the best.”
The Buffalo Sabres on the other hand lost their last game 5-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Goals from Casey Mittelstadt and Alex Tuch were not enough as the Sabres were condemned to their 11th defeat of the season.
Sabres coach Don Granato spoke after the game and admitted that his team just did not compete hard enough. Granato said, “It boils down to compete. We didn’t have enough guys competing hard enough at the start. That was the difference.”
