The game between the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes will take place at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Florida Panthers will welcome the Carolina Hurricanes to the FLA Live Arena for an NHL game on Wednesday. The Panthers beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-3 in their last game. Sam Reinhart scored two goals while Brandon Montour, Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Bennett scored one goal each as Florida recorded a comfortable win over Anaheim.
Two goal hero Sam Reinhart spoke after the game and was happy that his team can take some momentum back home. He said, “We had a good first and third. It was nice to salvage the road trip and carry some momentum back home.”
The Carolina Hurricanes on the other hand were soundly defeated by the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 in their last game. Stefan Noesen was the only Carolina player to score a goal after he had 4 shots on goal. Brent Burns and Derek Stepan also had 4 shots on goal each but could not get past Erik Källgren in the Toronto goal.
Carolina coach Rod Brind’Amour said after the game, “I didn’t think we were great, but we certainly weren’t poor. We need to capitalize on a couple of chances we had and were in a good spot there. We just didn’t lay the hammer down there and keep going.”
