The game between the Florida Panthers and Calgary Flames will take place at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida on Saturday, November 19 at 4:00 PM ET.
The Florida Panthers will welcome the Calgary Flames to the FLA Live Arena for an NHL game on Saturday. Florida were beaten 6-4 in their last game by the Dallas Stars. Goals from Matthew Tkachuk, Carter Verhaeghe, Eetu Luostarinen and Sam Reinhart were not enough as the Panthers fell to their seventh loss of the season.
Florida coach Paul Maurice said after the game, “We have not had nights like that, starts like that in the first period so when that first period was done, you don’t have a lot of options. But it is hard to do what we did, to slowly start to grind and get stronger, start to push back.”
The Calgary Flames on the other hand were beaten 4-1 in their last game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Nazem Kadri was the only Calgary player to get on the scoresheet as his teammates were not able to get past Andrei Vasilevskiy in the Lightning goal as he finished the game with a save percentage of .975.
Mikael Backlund of Calgary spoke after the game and said, “This is going to be a big trip for us, for sure. When the trip’s over, we’re at a point of the season where you can tell where team’s are at.”
