The game between the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars will take place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada on Saturday, November 5 at 4:00 PM ET.
The Edmonton Oilers will welcome the Dallas Stars to Rogers Place for an NHL game on Saturday. Edmonton lost their last game narrowly as they were beaten 4-3 by the New Jersey Devils. Goals from Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Derek Ryan were not enough as the Oilers slipped to their fourth defeat.
McDavid spoke after the game and said, “I definitely feel we should have won. I definitely feel like we created enough chances. We probably gave up too many chances, but I thought Skinner gave us a great chance to win. You have a team on the ropes, and we had a couple looks there, and you’ve got to put them down. That’s the way it goes. You have to find a way to close that one out.”
The Dallas Stars on the other hand trounced the Arizona Coyotes 7-2 in their last game. Jason Robertson scored a brace while Jamie Benn, Ty Dellandrea, Denis Gurianov, Jani Hakanpaa and Wyatt Johnston all scored one goal each as Dallas ran out comfortable winners.
Dallas coach Peter DeBoer said after the game, “We took care of business. I liked our game. We came out ready to play. We got rewarded for it early, and then we did enough the rest of the way.”
