The game between the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens will take place at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York on Thursday, October 27 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Buffalo Sabres will welcome the Montreal Canadiens to KeyBank Center for an NHL game on Thursday. The Sabres lost their last game 5-1 to the Seattle Kraken. Dylan Cozens was the only Buffalo player to get on the scoresheet as he had 3 shots on goal. Goaltender Eric Comrie had a decent game as he finished the game with a save percentage of .792 as he saved 19 of the 24 shots that he faced.
Sabres coach Don Granato spoke to the press after the game and said, “We couldn’t get in a rhythm. Seattle had much better energy than us. We chased it. We had a lot of guys that didn’t look like themselves. It was a tough night as a result.”
Like their opponents, the Montreal Canadiens also lost their last game. They were beaten 3-1 by the Minnesota Wild with only Cole Caufield scoring the single goal for Montreal. Christian Dvorak and Jake Evans had 5 and 4 shots on goal respectively but they were not able to get past Marc-Andre Fleury in the Minnesota goal.
Nick Suzuki of the Canadiens said after the game, “We could have easily scored in that third period. We had a lot of chances, we could have tied the game, we could have won it. There’s little things that we want to clean up in the defensive zone but where our group is at, it’s a good spot. Once we get the power play going it’ll help win more games.”
