The game between the Arizona Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets will take place at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona on Friday, October 28 at 10:30 PM ET.
The Arizona Coyotes will welcome the Winnipeg Jets to the Mullett Arena for an NHL game on Friday. Arizona won their last game 6-3 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Shayne Gostisbehere scored two goals while Lawson Crouse, Dylan Guenther, Zack Kassian and Jack McBain all scored one goal each as the Coyotes defeated Columbus comfortably.
Arizona head coach Andre Tourigny spoke after the game and said, “We capitalized on our chances, and then we played well defensively. Even if they had a shot, we kept them to the outside pretty good in the first two periods and if you looked at the quality scoring chances, we were ahead there too. It was not the volume of shots for us. It was the quality.”
The Winnipeg Jets on the other hand defeated the Los Angeles King 6-4 in their last game. Goals were spread all across the team as Adam Lowry, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Axel Jonsson-Fjallby, Mark Scheifele, Nate Schmidt and Blake Wheeler all got on the scoresheet.
Goalscorer Adam Lowry spoke after the game and said, “Obviously, don’t like our start. I think we were getting outshot 15-1 at one point. So definitely to kind of escape the first period down by one was huge. It gave us some confidence to find our game at the intermission and come out with a much better effort in the second.”
