The match between the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles will take place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday, September 11 at 1:00 PM ET.
Detroit Lions vs Philadelphia Eagles will take place at Ford Field for an NFL game on Sunday. The Lions come into this game on the back of a 19-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their last preseason game. Quarterback David Blough completed 17 of his 32 attempted passes and completed 160 yards and had one touchdown pass. Tim Boyle attempted 15 passes and completed five of them and passed for 64 yards and had one interception.
David Blough was a little more effective and his coach Dan Campbell said that he has seen enough from his players to see who will be the backups this season. Speaking after the game, Campbell said, “I think (the backup situation) became very clear. I think we got things answered and I would leave it at that.”
On the other hand, the Eagles come into this game on the back of a 48-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins in their last game. Quarterback Reid completed 12 of his 22 attempted passes and passed for 104 yards and had one interception while Gardner Minshew completed six of his nine passes and passed for 48 yards.
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni spoke after the game and said, “I felt like our guys got two good days of work in while we were here. I thought they were ready for that week and I didn’t want to over-push them. I was comfortable with the starters. Obviously, when you play like that, it’s not acceptable no matter who’s against who. They did a nice job moving the ball and stopping us, but obviously that’s not up to our standards.”
Lions: Chris Board, Austin Seibert, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Frank Ragnow, Julian Okwara, Tommy Kraemer, John Cominsky, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Jerry Jacobs, Romeo Okwara, Josh Paschal, Jason Cabinda, Jameson Williams, Levi Onwuzurike, Greg Bell
Eagles: Derek Barnett, Josiah Scott, Andre Dillard, Jaeden Graham, Brett Toth, Greg Ward, Javon Hargrave, Tyree Jackson
