Dallas Cowboys vs Seattle Seahawks will take place at AT&T Stadium for an NFL preseason game on Friday. The Cowboys come into this game on the back of a 32-18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in their last game. Running backs Rico Dowdle and Malik Davis ran 44 and 37 yards respectively and recorded one touchdown each. Quarterback Will Grier passed for 98 yards and had a good game overall.
The star of the game however was wide receiver KaVontae Turpin, who became the first player in nine seasons to have kickoff and punt return touchdowns in the same game. Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy was effusive in his praise for Turpin. After the game, McCarthy said, “Obviously, he had a very successful run there with the USFL, but really from the first day of practice, I mean, he came in and I was really impressed with the way he picked up the receiver play and the language. But you can see he’s dynamic in the return game. Two excellent big plays set the tempo.”

On the other hand, the Seahawks come into this game on the back of a 27-11 loss to the Chicago Bears. Quarterbacks Jacob Eason and Geno Smith had good games as they both passed for 141 and 112 yards respectively. Running back Darwin Thompson was the only player to record a touchdown for the error-prone Seahawks.
Geno Smith got injured in the first half and was not able to finish the game. He was in a reflective mood after the loss and said that there is room for improvement. He said, “We again just started a little slow, had some self-inflicted wounds. Some things that we can control that really set us back. And that’s the reason for the preseason is for us to get those things out. Obviously, there’s a ton of room for improvement and a lot of things that we have to improve on very fast.”
