Anthony Davis finished with 14 rebounds and 21 points. Aaron Gordon scored 22 points, collected 6 rebounds, and distributed 5 assists. With 30 points, 14 rebounds, plus 13 assists, Nikola Jokic recorded his eighth triple-double of the playoffs, which is the most in NBA history.
This will be First Playoff for Denver Nuggets since they joined the league in 1976. The Lakers have been clean-sweep for the ninth time in a best-of-seven-game series in NBA. This is the first time Nuggets clean-sweep an opposition in playoffs.
Anthony Davis got the Lakers back in the game with two free throws in the Fourth Quarter with 1:22 remaining time. Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis were exhausted in the second half of the game. Anthony Davis didn’t play that well in the second half which was crucial for them and LeBron James had 31 points in the first half, he scored 9 points in the second half which tells us how good the Nuggets were blocking and limiting their chances in the second half. The Lakers couldn’t utilize their first-half lead which could have brought them back in this series. Well, Nuggets did start the game a bit casually but they caught the Lakers back in the second half and eventually won the game as well as the series and qualified for the Finals.
