The Orlando Magic will welcome the Memphis Grizzlies to the Amway Center for an NBA preseason game on Tuesday. Orlando are in good form at the moment having won their last game against the Dallas Mavericks 110-105. Number 1 draft pick Paolo Banchero had a great game as he top scored for the Magic with 19 points and five rebounds. Terence Ross dropped 16 points while Cole Anthony had a much more rounded game with 12 points, five assists and four rebounds.
Jalen Suggs was unfortunately injured when he was attempting to screen a ball and fell awkwardly. On his latest setback, Suggs said, “It’s part of life and it’s part of this game. These things happen, so I’m taking it a day at a time. I’m not worried about it. One good thing is that going through it enough last year, I’m not getting down on it. I’m not in my feelings about it. I know what I need to do to get back and to heal and to get ready to go. So, I’m in a good spot right now.”
The Memphis Grizzlies on the other hand lost their last game 111-108 to the Miami Heat. Dillon Brooks scored the most points with 18 while Ja Morant and Desmond Bane dropped 17 points and had four assists each. Despite the loss, the Grizzlies will be happy that all their starters got enough minutes on the court and that will bode well as the season draws near.
