The Milwaukee Bucks aim for a more favorable outcome as they make their second visit to the Toronto Raptors in just two weeks on Wednesday night. The Bucks faced a 130-111 defeat during their initial season visit to Toronto on Nov. 1.

Both teams enter Wednesday’s matchup on the heels of Monday victories. The Raptors, coming back from a 2-2 road trip, initiated a four-game homestand with a remarkable 111-107 comeback win against the Washington Wizards, overcoming a 23-point deficit.

Breaking a two-game losing streak, the Milwaukee Bucks secured a 118-109 victory over the Chicago Bulls on their home turf. Meanwhile, in their matchup against Washington, the Toronto Raptors found themselves trailing by 15 points early in the fourth quarter. However, they orchestrated a remarkable turnaround, concluding the game with a stunning 21-1 run.

Key matchups

Pascal Siakam sealed the win with a clutch basket eight seconds before the final buzzer, capping off a stellar performance with a season-high 39 points, including an impressive 29 points in the second half.

This remarkable comeback marked the fourth-largest in franchise history for the Toronto Raptors and stands as the team’s second-largest fourth-quarter comeback.

Eradicating a 22-point disadvantage, the Raptors emerged victorious against the San Antonio Spurs on November 5th. Coach Darko Rajakovic bestowed the team’s “person-of-the-game” chain upon Chris Boucher, who brought a burst of energy off the bench with a contribution of seven points, seven rebounds, and three blocks.

Facing a 19-point deficit at halftime, Rajakovic advised his team to shift their focus beyond the score. The Raptors were without OG Anunoby, dealing with a lacerated finger, and Gary Trent Jr., sidelined with plantar fasciitis.

The Bucks will be missing the impactful Jae Crowder, undergoing surgery to mend a left adductor and abdominal tear. Crowder exited the game against the Orlando Magic on Saturday, and his absence is anticipated to stretch for approximately eight weeks. Despite this setback, Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a stellar performance on Monday, securing 35 points and 11 rebounds, with an impressive 14-point contribution in the fourth quarter.
