Pascal Siakam has been on fire in the playoffs, helping the underdog Indiana Pacers snatch home-court advantage from the Milwaukee Bucks. Siakam aims to keep his hot streak going on Friday as the sixth-seeded Pacers host the third-seeded Bucks in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference first-round series in Indianapolis.

After scoring 36 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in the Pacers’ 109-94 loss in the series opener on Sunday, Siakam came back strong with 37 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists in Indiana’s 125-108 win on Tuesday. He’s made NBA history as the first player since Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain in 1967 to kick off the playoffs with back-to-back performances of at least 35 points and 10 rebounds.

Siakam’s been here before – he was part of the 2019 championship-winning Toronto Raptors team. Plus, Myles Turner stepped up big time, scoring 22 points, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out six assists, and blocking three shots to help even the series.

Key matchups

Milwaukee’s Damian Lillard is on a roll with his strong starts, and he’ll aim to keep it going on Friday. In the series opener, he poured in all 35 of his points during the first half, and on Tuesday, he lit it up again with 26 of his 34 points coming in the first two quarters.

Bobby Portis had a solid performance in Game 2, scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. But he also stirred things up with his post-game comments. On the other hand, Milwaukee’s star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, has been sidelined for the last five games due to a left calf injury. However, Bucks coach Doc Rivers expressed optimism about Antetokounmpo’s condition after seeing him in practice on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Indiana took advantage inside, making Antetokounmpo more of a spectator. The Pacers dominated the paint, outscoring their opponents 52-36, and shot an impressive 55.6 percent from the field.
