The Memphis Grizzlies to take on the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA game on November 4 at FedExForum. On Friday night, the Memphis Grizzlies travel to Tennessee to play the suddenly faltering Charlotte Hornets. The absence of several crucial players has caused Charlotte to regress recently after winning two of their first three games of the season. The 50+ win club from last season, Memphis, is currently 5-3 and has just returned from a victory in Portland. At 8:00 EST, the first tip is scheduled. The Charlotte Hornets appear to be finally catching up to the off-court distractions and, more significantly, the on-court missing components.
Due to off-court issues, the club lost one of its stated cornerstones in the summer, and three anticipated starters have been out for almost the entire season. As a result, the Hornets are currently only 3-5 overall and have dropped their last four games. Despite playing the second of two games in a row, the Bulls defeated the Hornets 106-88 on Wednesday night in Chicago. The Bulls bench outscored the Hornets reserves 49-28 throughout the contest. The depth of the Hornets has been significantly hampered by the absence of so many starters.

With 24 points, including five three-pointers, Kellly Oubre Jr. led the Hornets, and Mason Plumlee added 11 points and 13 rebounds. The Hornets’ early-season strengths have since evolved into disadvantages over the course of the last several games. Charlotte managed just 88 points, including just 36 in the second half, while shooting just 39% from the field against Chicago, the NBA’s leading scorer for much of the season.
