The Los Angeles Clippers will welcome the Houston Rockets to the Crypto.com Arena for an NBA game on Monday. The Clippers lost their last game 112-91 to the New Orleans Pelicans in their last game. Norman Powell top scored off the bench with 18 points and had 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Paul George dropped 14 points and also finished the game with 3 assists and 3 rebounds.
Clippers head coach Ty Lue admitted after the game that his team has got to do a lot better. Speaking after the game, he said, “We just got to do some things better. We’re not a very good basketball team now and we got to change that.”
The Houston Rockets on the other hand lost their last game 124-109 to the Phoenix Suns as most of their starters did not have a good game. Kevin Porter Jr scored 26 points and had 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Alperen Sengun dropped 16 points while rebounding 9 nine times. Jalen Green came up with 15 points as the Rockets lost their sixth game of the season.
Rockets coach Stephen Silas said after the game, “Some of our late-game execution can get a little better. The possession where we fouled on the inbound then we got two technicals, it was like a three-point possession just for nothing. Our poise in those moments especially in the fourth quarter is important as well.”
