The Pacers (29-23) are gunning for their third win in a row on Thursday night as they square off against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors (23-25) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This game marks Indiana’s last showdown at home before the NBA All-Star 2024 kicks off. After this, the Blue & Gold hit the road for a three-game stretch as they gear up for Indianapolis to host the league’s big annual showcase from Feb. 16-18.
The Blue & Gold are riding high after snagging a 132-129 victory against the Rockets on Tuesday night. They were on fire, shooting an impressive 62.8 percent, with six players hitting double digits. Pascal Siakam led the charge with 29 points, shooting 11-of-16 (including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc), while Myles Turner contributed 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting. Off the bench, T.J. McConnell added 18 points, shooting 8-for-11 from the field.
For Pacers fans, the best news of the night was seeing All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton back in action for 29 minutes, his longest playing time since he came back from a left hamstring injury last week. He racked up 18 points on 8-of-15 shooting and dished out seven assists—a promising comeback indeed.

Warriors: G – Stephen Curry, G – Brandin Podziemski, F – Klay Thompson, F – Jonathan Kuminga, C – Draymond Green
Injuries (Pacers): Tyrese Haliburton – questionable (left hamstring strain injury management), Bennedict Mathurin – questionable (illness), Jalen Smith – questionable (low back strain)
Injuries (Warriors): Andrew Wiggins – probable (left ankle contusion), Draymond Green – questionable (right knee contusion), Chris Paul – out (left hand fracture), Gary Payton II – out (left hamstring strain)
The Pacers have taken down the Warriors in their last three matchups. Last season, Indiana swept the series against Golden State for the first time since 2017-18.
Pacers guard Buddy Hield is just two 3-pointers away from passing Billy Keller (506) and snagging fifth place in franchise history. As for Haliburton, he’s just 28 points away from hitting the 4,000 mark for his career.
Remember Cory Joseph, the old Pacers guard? Well, he’s now in his 13th NBA season, and he’s suiting up for the Warriors for the first time. The Warriors scooped up Trayce Jackson-Davis, the Indiana University All-American and son of former Pacers center Dale Davis, in the 2023 NBA Draft. He’s putting up solid numbers for a rookie, averaging 6.7 points and 4.2 rebounds over 35 games so far.
