The Detroit Pistons will face the Memphis Grizzlies at the Little Caesars Arena on Sunday. Admittedly, the Detroit Pistons were a half-full, half-empty team recently. They looked so bad when they lost to the New York Knicks, but they looked so good when they beat the Dallas Mavericks. The Pistons are currently up a notch in his home game on Sunday against last year’s Western Conference runners-up Jamorant and the Memphis Grizzlies. Caesars has Detroit as his 7.0-point underdog at home against Memphis. The money line is +270 for Detroit and -335 for Memphis. The total over/under is 230.5 points. Of course, the Grizzlies have an electric guard named Morant who is one of the top scorers and playmakers in the league. Jalen Jackson Jr.’s return allows Morant to pair up as a frontcourt teammate.
Memphis isn’t a great shooting team, but they do hit the offensive board. Memphis will be without one of his top scorers, Desmond Bain and Zaire Williams. Starting his center Steven Adams, his starting center, with questionable right hip pain (presumably Joel facing his Embiid impactor). This feels like a Memphis trap in his game. He just had a big home win against the Sixers and has to catch a plane to Detroit. Morant, of course, was able to single-handedly emerge victorious. Aside from the Knicks game, the Pistons have been doing pretty well lately. Livers is a great roll player, but the team shouldn’t fall apart because of his absence. Jaden Ivey or Saddiq Bey will likely replace him in the first XI.
