Both the Dallas Mavericks, sitting at 5th place in the West with a 48-30 record, and the Miami Heat, currently 8th in the East with a 43-35 record, will be wrapping up back-to-back games as they face each other. Dallas is coming from a game in Charlotte on Tuesday, while Miami will be finishing up in Atlanta.

In their last game, Dallas took down the Rockets at home with a score of 147-136, covering the spread as 9.5-point favorites. Meanwhile, Miami suffered a close loss to Indiana, falling 117-115 as 2.5-point underdogs. This marks the second face-off between these teams this season, with the Mavericks winning by six points back in early March. The game is set to tip off at 7:30 PM EST at the Kaseya Center in Miami and will be aired on ESPN.

Luka Doncic is killing it this season with his stats. He’s averaging a whopping 33.9 points per game, leading the NBA by a good chunk. The next closest is Giannis Antetokounmpo with 30.9 points per game.

Injury report

For the Mavericks, Maxi Kleber and Josh Green are questionable, while Dereck Lively II will not be playing the game. As for the Heat, Duncan Robinson, Terry Rozier, Bam Adebayo, Nikola Jovic and Kevin Love are questionable, while Josh Richardson will sit this one out.

Key matchups

Luka’s got some serious firepower alongside him in the backcourt with Kyrie Irving. Kyrie’s been putting up big numbers too, averaging 25.8 points per game this season. He just went off for 48 points in the Houston game. Plus, he’s scored 25 or more points in each of his last four games.

The second highest scorer on the team is actually coming off the bench. Tim Hardaway Jr. brings the heat as a spark plug for the second unit, averaging 14.8 points per game.

The Miami Heat wrap up their season with three games at home, and this one’s gonna be a toughie. Their final two games are against Toronto, who’s already out of playoff contention and missing a bunch of key players. The Heat still have a shot at snagging the 6th seed and avoiding the Play-In Tournament, but they’re gonna need some serious help. Right now, they’re trailing the 76ers by half a game in 7th place, and the Pacers are sitting 1.5 games ahead in 6th.
