The Brooklyn Nets are finishing up their five-game road trip by going to Orlando to play the Magic on Tuesday night, which is the second game of a back-to-back. The Nets have been having a tough time on this trip, losing all three games leading up to Monday night’s game against Memphis.

The Magic are back home after a three-game road trip where they won two out of three games, but lost the last one in Atlanta on Sunday night. The game is set to start at 7:00 PM EST.

The Orlando Magic are now tied with the Miami Heat for first place in the Southeast Conference, which is pretty surprising considering how their season has been going.

Key matchups

The Brooklyn Nets don’t seem to be too hopeful about making it to the playoffs this season. They fired their head coach, Jacque Vaughn, and they’ve lost three games in a row since the All-Star Break, and four games in total, going into Monday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Nets offense hasn’t been doing too well lately, scoring less than 100 points in each of the last three games. But on Monday night, they finally won a game on this road trip against the Grizzlies, who haven’t been doing too well either. The Nets defense was on point, holding the Grizzlies to just 44 points in the first half.

The Magic just wrapped up a three-game road trip with a loss against Atlanta, 109-92. Franz Wagner was the top scorer for the Magic with 19 points, and Wendell Carter Jr. had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Before the loss in Atlanta, the Magic had won eight out of their last ten games, including the first two games of the road trip.

The Magic are looking to bounce back with a win against the struggling Nets on Tuesday night. The Magic’s offense hasn’t been great this season, ranking 26th in the NBA for scoring. They’re 16th in field goal shooting and 25th in 3-point shooting.
