The Boston Celtics will welcome the Chicago Bulls to the TD Garden for an NBA game on Friday. The Celtics’ last game went into overtime as they lost 114-113 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jaylen Brown top scored for Boston with 30 points while Jayson Tatum dropped 26 points with 12 rebounds. Malcolm Brogdon came off the bench to score 15 points.
Jaylen Brown missed a chance to win the game at the end. Speaking on the chance, he said, “It was pretty much get me the ball to make the play and I came up short. Two seconds is enough time to get a good shot. I got a good look. It’s a makeable shot.”
The Chicago Bulls on the other hand won their last game 106-88 over the Charlotte Hornets. Javonte Green came off the bench and top scored with 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Patrick Williams and Goran Dragic each scored 16 points apiece while Nikola Vucevic dropped 14 points and had 13 rebounds.
Bulls coach Billy Donovan said after the game, “I think that having everybody involved is going to help our team grow, and it also takes the pressure off those guys, where if they don’t have a great shooting night, you’re still giving yourself an opportunity to win.”
