Wordle was the brainchild of software engineer Josh Wardle In times of lockdown, he developed this game for his spouse, for her love for word games. The game then spread like jungle fire, first within the family and then finally to the public. Wordle has since inspired tons of games like Dordle, Quordle, and many more that focus around geography, math,or music. Soon Wordle became very popular and so popular that it caught the attention of The New York Times, who bought it for a whopping seven figures. Wordle is a five letter game where one needs to figure out the word of the day by using some guesswork and a lot of intelligence, while you have only six guesses to get the right answer. When you type your 1st word and a box turns grey, it means that that letter is not part of the word of the day. If any of the boxes turn yellow, then it means that that letter is part of the word but not in the right place and finally if any box turns green, it means that the letter is in it’s right place.
