We’ve taken on the task of creating an updated list of server locations for Fortnite! You’d be surprised how much server location affects your in-game experience, so make sure you’re connected to the one closest to you for the best experience. We worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver this new server region located in Dallas, Texas, USA. The NA-Central server region is using AWS Local Zones to provide a low-latency experience for players in Mexico and the Central United States, with the experience similar to that of players in the NA-East and NA-West server regions. If you need more information about Where is the NA-East Server Located In Fortnite Game? All Guide then read carefully and don’t forget to share with your friends.

Where is the NA-East Server Located In Fortnite Game? All Guide:

We may host some competitive events on the NA-Central server region to test server performance and iron out any bugs, but tournaments in North America will still be held on the NA-East and NA-West server regions. Will go Players with that state and surrounding region are most likely to benefit from the lowest ping. However, the news that players on that server will now connect to a data center in Texas is likely to be viewed less favorably by players who previously had zero ping during the tournament.

These players will still be able to play on NA-East or any other server, but they will likely have somewhat higher ping due to North American tournaments. One solution to this might be to play on NA-Central servers to get used to the slightly slower connections. If the game continues to be profitable for e-sports players, it makes more sense for professional players to move to Austin, where the new server is located.

But obviously, those locations are not accurate. There is no data center in the middle of Australia – that would be silly! — but we don’t know which of Amazon’s Australian data centers specifically Fortnite is using, so we slapped it in the middle of the country. Ditto Canada. Here’s the full list, with some general and some specific locations based on what we know about availability zones:

  • Ohio, USA
  • Virginia, USA
  • California, USA
  • Oregon, USA
  • Tokyo, Japan
  • South Korea
  • Osaka, Japan
  • Mumbai, India
  • Singapore
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Frankfurt, Germany
  • Ireland
  • London, UK
  • Paris, France
  • Sao Paulo, Brazil

However, starting with Chapter 4 Season 2, competitive events will no longer be hosted on the NA-East and NA-West server regions. Instead, tournaments in North America will run on NA-Central servers. Players will still be able to view and queue for upcoming competitive events if the NA-East or NA-West servers are set in the region, but the event will be routed to the NA-Central servers.

But that’s not the end of the story. While the game continues to be successful and Amazon’s infrastructure continues to grow into new regions, Epic could expand Fortnite servers to more regions if they see a significant demand for it.
