Fans of Warzone 2 ranked play just earned an early victory before tonight’s team matches. The use of the Cluster Mine and Bomb Drone, two of Warzone 2’s more obnoxious killstreaks, is now forbidden in competitive play. According to a statement from Treyarch, both streaks will no longer be available as loot, and the Cluster Mine has been swapped out for the Revive Pistol at buy stations.

Fans of the ranked play quickly became accustomed to the Bomb Drone, a controllable drone with an explosive effect. It was frequently looted, and players would use its powerful explosions to subdue the enemy. If you need more information about Warzone 2 prohibits its most annoying kill streaks from competitive play, then read carefully, and don’t forget to share with your friends.

Warzone 2 prohibits its most annoying kill streaks from the competitive play:

Warzone 2 is a fantastic game, but it also has many issues. The KV Broadside shotgun has produced one of the most monotonous metals in Warzone history, AI soldiers being dispersed throughout the map, and Bomb Drones have been a significant problem ever since they were first introduced. Fortunately, Raven Software has already revealed a nerf for the KV Broadside, which should result in a significant damage reduction.

The Cluster Mine, a placeable streak that is activated when players enter its vicinity, is similar. However, Treyarch noted that both can make a comeback in the future. “As outlined in the patch notes, Warzone 2 ranked play competitive settings are a multi-team effort to deliver competitive and fair matches,” Treyarch said. “Restrictions are updated based on data and feedback, and restricted items may return in an upcoming season after undergoing balance changes.”

Bomb Drones in Warzone 2 will no longer be functional with the Season 2 Reloaded Update, according to a tweet from the developers. The Bomb Drones, on the other hand, are only momentarily disabled and will reappear in a subsequent update. The developers simply need some time to consider how to better balance the killstreak.

We are grateful that Raven Software has taken notice of the community’s complaints and has made changes to op weapons, killstreaks, and other things. What aspects of the Bomb Drones should they alter, in your opinion? It will be very challenging to balance them without making them either op or completely useless, in my opinion.

The Riot Shield is restricted in the new competitive version of Warzone 2, and there are other differences from the standard BR mode, such as the requirement that players be at least level 45 before they can access ranked. The ruleset for Warzone 2’s ranked play will probably change over time based on feedback since it is still in beta. For the time being, players of battle royale games can look forward to not being eliminated by a few brutal explosive killstreaks anytime soon.
