This information was released a few hours after Riot unveiled the 6.11 patch notes. The enormous changes that are coming with this update will undoubtedly upend many things, including the way that Valorant is currently played. Since this bundle was given the codename Tokyo, many people assumed it would be a VCT Masters Tokyo bundle. Simply put, it will be a standard bundle.

Near the back of each weapon is a picture of a statue of a dog that resembles the Hachiko Statue in Tokyo’s Shibuya neighborhood. Riot included a background image of a crosswalk that resembles the well-known Shibuya Crossing at the end of the preview video.

The skin line’s precise release date hasn’t been specified by Riot, but VCT Masters Tokyo is set to start on Sunday, June 11. Since VALORANT updates every two weeks, the upcoming patch should coincide with a drop date of Tuesday, June 20, putting it five days before the tournament’s conclusion.

To increase the excitement for the event’s grand finals matchup between the final two teams, players may see these new skins in-game later this month for Patch 6.12. Although the cost of this new bundle has not yet been disclosed, popular data miner and leaker ValorLeaks claims that it falls under the Deluxe tier. Typically, this tier will cost 1,275 VP for each gun skin, 2,550 VP for melee, and 5,100 VP for those looking to buy the entire collection.

However, it is unknown whether these skins will be priced differently. They do have a unique feature where, depending on whether the player is standing in an illuminated area of the map or hiding in the shadows, the weapons switch from light to dark. Since Deluxe skins typically don’t include significant changes to the weapon’s functionality outside of its general appearance, it doesn’t appear that there are any additional unique animations or visual effects.
