 1. Overextending

Even higher echelons struggle with this. There is always a danger that you’ll run in before your allies have time to respond, even if pressing quickly after taking down an adversary is sometimes the ideal play to collapse onto a site. After winning the coveted first choice, you are now in a five-on-four situation. It’s best to consult your squad before taking off without backup now that you have this edge.

2. Not clearing angles as you push

Although some angles simply cannot be cleared by one person as it leaves it greatly affects the flow of a push onto the site, you must clear your corners. Any push your squad tries to make will be destroyed by an adversary who will take advantage of this. This advice goes beyond simply making sure no one is hiding in a corner. I’m also referring to concentrating on your crosshairs when you clear them. Too often, players will use automatic corner clearing and quick muscular movements to flip their heads.

You can learn more in your auto-pilot mode as you rise through the levels. By gently clearing out these angles while literally gazing at the center of your crosshair, you may combat this. I advise practicing clearing a line of entry repeatedly while playing a VALORANT Deathmatch. Start clearing corners completely if you haven’t already. Alternately, if you’re pursuing your entrance player, clear the angle once they’ve gone through it to make sure it’s secure.

3. Aiming down sight

In some circumstances, aiming below the sight of your firearm is effective. Longer distances and extremely thin angles can be held with excellent success in VALORANT. But keep in mind that it is more difficult to flee quickly, and your spray alters substantially. To use iron sights instead, I recommend refraining from utilizing it for a few games. In the long term, your game will benefit from honing your aim without the use of ADS. Unbind it if you are not a user of an operator.

4.  Not thinking about noise

Within the minimap’s indicated radius, your noise is audible. The easiest approach to determine when to make a noise is to keep track of where you and your teammates are at all times. Reloading, jumping, landing, and taking a little stride can all undermine your push if you’re in a position where you’re attempting to withhold information.

As you move up the ranks, you can get better at this, but always remember that your competitors can learn a lot from noise. The easiest way to understand VALORANT’s noise dynamics and how much of a racket you’re truly making is to focus on the ring that shows in your minimap.
