The long-awaited full trailer for Resident Evil: Death Island, the newest entry in CAPCOM’s acclaimed Resident Evil series (known as Biohazard: Death Island in Japan), was been made public by Kadokawa. The new computer-generated animated picture has an official release date of July 7 in Japan, and fans all over the world are anticipating it with great interest. The movie, which Sony Pictures Entertainment will distribute everywhere except for Japan, promises a gripping plot with lots of action. In the movie, D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy goes on a risky mission to save Dr. Antonio Taylor from a group of kidnappers. His pursuit is, however, thwarted by an enigmatic woman who has her own objectives. B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is meanwhile looking into a recent zombie outbreak in San Francisco. The fact that all of the victims had just visited Alcatraz Island is the sole indication as to what caused the infection, which is still unknown. When Chris and his colleagues decide to follow this tip and visit the fabled island, they are met with a brand-new nightmare.

Resident Evil: Death Island boasts a talented team behind its production. Eiichirō Hasumi, known for his work on Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness and the live-action adaptation of Assassination Classroom, takes on the directorial role. The screenplay is penned by Makoto Fukami, renowned for his work on Psycho-Pass. Other notable members of the staff include Rei Kondō, in charge of the film’s music and known for his work on Resident Evil: Damnation, and CG director Tomohiro Shimizu.
Resident Evil: Death Island serves as a sequel to the 2017 film, Resident Evil: Vendetta, which was screened in theaters in the United States and Canada in June 2017 and in Japan in May 2017. However, unlike its predecessors, Resident Evil: Death Island features a completely original storyline that draws from various games in the Resident Evil series. CAPCOM producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, recognized for his work on Resident Evil 4 and Sengoku Basara, supervised the project, ensuring that the film stays true to the franchise’s roots while offering a fresh and captivating narrative.
Resident Evil: Death Island’s English dub cast has a talented group of actors. In order to give the characters depth and authenticity, Matthew Mercer assumes the part of Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield is spoken by Kevin Dorman, and Rebecca Chambers is voiced by Erin Cahill.
