The Grand Finale Season 5 of Red Bull MEO was held yesterday, 20th November at the beautiful Sundar Nursery in Delhi, featuring three mobile esports titles – Pokémon Unite, World Cricket Championship and Clash of Clans. An intense best-of-three grand finale took place between True Rippers and Revenant Esports with the Pokémon Unite trophy in front of a large live audience. After two harrowing games, where both teams exchanged several punches to even the score, it all came down to the final ten seconds of the third game, where the True Rippers won to close out the series and emerge as champions. Managed a big clutch to get away. Red Bull MEO Season 5 – Pokémon Unite.The open-for-all tournament saw an influx of spectators to the venue to watch the grand finals of all three mobile titles, as well as meet their favorite esports athlete or content creator from the long list of guests announced by Red Bull for its schedule ‘Meet and greet’ with wish.

The live audience was enthralled by the competitive action that all the teams put on,True Reapers and Revenant Esports in particular, as both teams came to life to win the Pokémon Unite tournament and lift the trophy in the LAN event.

Red Bull MEO Season 5 revealed:

  • Match 1: True Rippers 270 – Revenant Esports 241 ( Win)
  • Match 2: Revenant Esports 320 – True Rippers 268 🙁 loss)
  • Match 3: True Rippers 487 – Revenant Esports – 375 ( win )

True Reapers started off winning the first match by just 29 points, but Revenant Esports was as confident as ever and came back in the second match to take the game to the final game decider. The final game was running tight until halftime but the True Reapers soon turned the tide, running away with a 112-point lead to secure the Pokémon Unite trophy.

This is the second consecutive Pokémon Unite tournament that the True Rippers have won in the span of just one week. The first was the Pokémon Unite Championship Season 1 by the Indian Gaming League and was followed by Red Bull M.E.O. Season 5 Pokemon Unite. Due to the consistent outstanding performance given by the team, True Reapers have also received a direct invite for the Pokémon Unite Indian Open 2022 by Skysports.
