PUBG Mobile collaborated with Spider-Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Lamborghini in 2022. However, only the Spider-Man and Jujutsu Kaisen themes were included as game modes. The game will collaborate with Evangelion in the upcoming May update. The Evangelion theme will be available only in Erangel. For fast-paced gameplay, the mode will feature a new blue zone mechanism. The EVA Unit 01 themed character will be seen fighting the mythic character, the sixth angel. Players can also gather resources from the defensive fortresses.
A new Emergency pickup feature has been added exclusively to the maps of Erangel and Miramar in the 2.0 update. Players must locate an Emergency pickup bag in order to summon a pickup that will allow them to travel to the safe zone. They can also choose where they want to land strategically. They must keep in mind, however, that their HP will continue to decrease as long as they are outside the safe zone.

The new update includes a new Haptic Feedback system. The Haptic Feedback feature is accessible via the basic controls found in the game’s settings. When dealing damage or killing an enemy, players’ phones will vibrate. If the haptics level is set to High, vibrations will be associated with more actions.
PUBG Mobile’s recall feature was added in the 1.8 update. As a result of the feature’s popularity among fans, Krafton has included it several times in themed mode maps in subsequent updates. The recall feature now includes new quick chat messages and markers in the 2.0 update. In addition, the recalled teammate’s view in the air has been improved.
