Get excited for Deadlock, the newest agent to join the Riot Games shooter’s constantly expanding character roster, if you’re a fan of VALORANT and have been itching for another sentinel to play as.

I’ve been looking for another agent because I’m a rare Cypher man who can bring a lot of lockdown to a site and can use that lockdown to stall out enemies while the rest of their teammates rotate to fight alongside them. Thanks to her vast array of nanowire technology, Deadlock’s high-tech skill set accomplishes this and more. If you need more information about the Top 3 Best Maps for Deadlock in VALORANT, then read carefully, and don’t forget to share with your friends.

Top 3 Best Maps for Deadlock in VALORANT:

In VALORANT, there are numerous ways to use her abilities on a variety of different maps, but she excels in situations where she can thwart advancements, whether she’s using her Barrier Mesh to stop any quickly moving agents from zooming onto a site, her Sonic Sensor to catch some enemies off-guard, her GravNet to stymie a fast take, or her ultimate ability to snatch away an unaware opponent from their team.

The sentinel is best suited for sites and locations with narrow entryways and indoor spaces because, in more open areas, targets can be harder to find because they will have more room to avoid her lockdown abilities.

3. Split

Due to how crowded some spaces are when pushing onto a site, Deadlock will find it much easier to hold down chokepoints on Split because there are so many different close-quarter situations. For instance, dealing with her Barrier Mesh in mid can be a nightmare because there are so many tight corners to check and so little room to move.

Similar to how Deadlock will be completely devastating to any team attempting to rush through B Heaven or B Garage due to how narrow the site entryway is. Even with a five-stack, she will be challenged to push through these tiny rooms and narrow hallways because of her GravNet and Sonic Sensor, which will be downright oppressive for uncoordinated teams. A ramp can still be locked down by Deadlock with a flurry of abilities, forcing any rushing squads into awkward situations even though A site gives attackers more room to maneuver.

2. Fracture

Given the numerous angles, she will need to consider due to the location’s cross-map rope system, Deadlock might be a fringe choice for Fracture. She is very good at securing the A site, whether she is using her Barrier Mesh, GravNet, or Sonic Sensor to stop enemies from running through the A main hall or blocking them off with them. Other than rotating back to spawn or pushing A rope, the enemy team doesn’t have many other options for escape, but her teammates may be waiting as they funnel into their crosshairs.

As a result of the area’s greater openness and ease of movement, the B site will be harder to hold. She is also quite vulnerable to flanking through Arcade, so she will primarily be placed on A site.

1. Ascent

Deadlock can easily stall you out whether you’re running through A main, A tree, B main, or mid because they are small chokepoints that can be strengthened with area-of-effect spells. Her abilities are designed for confined spaces, and a well-timed wall and GravNet could be lethal, particularly when combined with a Brimstone ultimate or Raze Showstopper.

Because mid is the only area of the map with expansive sightlines designed for longer-range encounters, Deadlock simply needs to avoid attempting to use her abilities there. Other than that, she can manage a site on her own while the rest of the team is out exploring.
