In order to give eggs a little bit more time in the spotlight, Niantic is finally introducing a new event called Hatch Day. Eggs have always been a significant component of Pokémon Go. Players will experience increased odds of hatching the Emanation Pokémon during the first iteration of this event type, which has as its theme Riolu Hatch Day.
Hatch Day, in contrast to earlier Egg-centric content, will collaborate more closely with a Community Day event, so it will only be available on July 22 from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. However, Riolu won’t be the only Pokémon hatching during that time. Riolu will also have a higher chance of appearing as a Shiny when it hatches from 2km Eggs.
