Baldur’s Gate 3 fans who are eager to start playing will, unfortunately, have to wait a little longer for the download to finish because they can’t pre-download. Even worse: If you don’t use their “legally binding get-out-of-work note” or have slow internet, you might have to wait even longer.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has been in early access since October 2020, so even though Steam permits preloading of games that haven’t yet been released, it is unable to support this functionality.
