Regarding basic and advanced usage, each VALORANT agent has a unique level of difficulty, so some are easier for newer or less experienced players to use than others. However, after carefully examining the data from this year, one agent stands out as the most trustworthy among the game’s lowest-ranked players.

Sage has consistently outperformed all other Iron players throughout VALORANT Episode Six and the majority of Episode Seven Act One so far. According to information from the statistics website Blitz.gg, she has been the Iron One player most frequently selected for four consecutive acts and has the second-highest win rate in three of those acts (she placed third in Episode Six Act One).

Across all three of the Iron ranks—Iron One, Iron Two, and Iron Three—the same pattern is evident: Sage consistently ranks in the top three in win rate and is the undisputed No. 1 in pick rate. Sage continues to be a top performer in both categories even as we move up into the lower Bronze levels.

Sage has some of the worst individual performance numbers of any agent at these ranks; however, these statistics, most notably her win rate, are in sharp contrast to her average score and K/D among Iron players. She has the worst ACS average of any Iron player over the course of all four episodes, and her K/D ranking is at the bottom of the pack. Sage, on the other hand, is a support agent, so even at higher ranks, Sage can put up low individual numbers and still help teams win. As a result, this is not just a trait of Iron players.

With the help of her Healing Orb and Resurrection, Sage easily records the most assists per game when compared to the other sentinel agents. She can, however, also receive help if an enemy player is killed while on her Slow orb. Sage is comparatively one of the simpler agents to use, which is crucial for Iron players.
