TCG enthusiasts and collectors in the West have been treated to an interesting announcement with a Paradox-inspired theme as we get closer to the start of the Pokémon 2023 World Championships in Japan. The next TCG set Paradox Rift will be available in the west, and we now know exactly which Pokémon will be included in it—none other than the well-liked Scarlet and Violet newcomer Iron Valorant.

The most well-known non-legendary Paradox creature to emerge from the most recent generation, this Pokémon bears a striking resemblance to Gallade. Despite the fact that we haven’t seen any cards from the set yet, you can predict that whatever mystery rare form of Iron Valiant materializes will be the set’s chase cards.

The Paradox Rift has opened, introducing a new set featuring the beloved Pokémon colors Scarlet and Violet:

As the following TCG set after Obsidian Flames, Paradox Rift will feature OCG cards from the Raging Surf, Ancient Roar, and Future Flash sets, according to PokeBeach, who was the first source to report this information.

This month, Raging Surf’s package art was unveiled, teasing classic characters like Jirachi and Groudon as well as Scarlet and Violet’s brand-new golden Pokémon Gholdengo. In less than a day, players will have the opportunity to open Obsidian Flames packs before we acquire Paradox Rift. These packs contain a lot of high-value items, so you’ll want to know what to look for.

The Obsidian Flames English Pokémon TCG cards are set to go on sale in August after already being made available in Japan. There are more than 200 cards in the set, including three Hyper Rare gold-etched cards, six Special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Support cards, and other cards that are pursuit cards for the third expansion. The set also includes Pokémon of the Tera type, which have a new general type that influences Weakness and resistance but the same Energy type they always have for attacking.

In fact, we were met with one of the set’s rarest cards when we opened our initial packs. It will be time to get ready for Paradox Rift once Obsidian Flames have calmed down. Prereleases for this collection began in late October, and it will be available in the west on November 3.
