NICKMERCS is an expert in Apex Legends and a FaZe Clan member. Queer players and supporters are prevalent in Apex, and the FaZe streamer’s tweet sparked a significant backlash there. Activision’s decision to remove the creator bundle from Call of Duty games, however, has caused streamers like Dr. Disrespect to boycott the title by uninstalling it, and TimTheTatman to ask that their content be taken down as well. What will happen next for Activision or the involved streamers is unclear.
