In VALORANT, the Magepunk weapon skin line will get its third expansion, outpacing other collections like the Prime, Oni, Glitchpop, Reaver, Ion, and RGX 11z Pro. On May 29, Magepunk 3.0 will be released in the VALORANT store, taking the place of the game’s most recent featured collection, the fourth Run It Back skin bundle. The Episode Six Magepunk drop will feature items for both the Vandal and the Phantom in addition to debuting the third melee skin in the line.

Riot Games has not yet officially stated the exact price in VALORANT Points for the bundle and its three new skins, as well as whether any new player cards, gun buddies, or sprays will also be included in the drop. The Magepunk 3.0 bundle from VALORANT includes skins for 2 well-known weapons:

Whatever the case, players should anticipate it to be categorized as a Premium weapon skin bundle, just like the previous Magepunk collections, and to include complementary effects and variants that fit its distinctive theme of mechanized magic. While it seems fairly safe to assume that the Magepunk Vandal and Phantom skins will have 1,775 VP price tags, it appears likely that the Sparkswitch Melee will cost 3,550 VP, though a price point of 4,350 VP is also possible.

The two weapons in the Magepunk 3.0 collection are the most frequently used firearms in the game, making it a unique collection. Regarding the melee, it is referred to as the Sparkswitch and initially appears to be a scissor. But a butterfly knife is probably the closest comparison.

To date, almost all of the weapons have had gun skins added as part of the Magepunk collections. Given that this is the third version of the collection and one of the few to not have skins for every gun, the developers made a very wise choice by releasing a small but novel item.

The Magepunk 3.0 collection will also include four original Variants, which will essentially boast different colored electricity flowing through the weapons, although the official post makes no mention of variants. However, previous iterations and the general trend suggest this is the case.

Given that the new collection will only contain two gun skins, which is half as many as the first and second iterations, its cost will probably be less than the 7,100 VP offered by the other drops. Magepunk players will soon be able to equip 10 of the 17 standard weapons in the game from the same VALORANT skin line, leaving only the Classic, Shorty, Frenzy, Stinger, Judge, Bulldog, and Odin unaccounted for.
