Although professional VALORANT players all over the world might prefer the Ghost, in VCT Americas, a very different sidearm just barely outperforms it. According to analytics from RunItBack.gg, the Frenzy is just barely leading the Ghost in terms of the total rounds chosen during VCT Americas as of day one of week six, with 522 Frenzy rounds compared to 518 featuring the Ghost.

This may seem like a small distinction, but when compared to the results from EMEA and Pacific, it represents a significant victory for fans of Frenzy. If you need more information about The Ghost’s dominance in VCT Americas is broken by Frenzy, then read carefully, and don’t forget to share with your friends.

The Ghost’s dominance in VCT Americas is broken by Frenzy:

With 269 rounds compared to the Classic’s 487 and the Ghost’s astounding 717 in EMEA, the Frenzy isn’t even in second place. In Pacific, the Frenzy performs marginally better (483 rounds), but it still falls short of the Ghost (548). Aspas from LOUD, one of the league’s top players overall, is the player in the Americas who has benefited the most from the Frenzy. Before today’s game against 100T, Aspas had the most kills in the league with 33 with the Frenzy.

By coincidence, he also has the most kills with the Shorty and the Operator, highlighting his skill at obtaining kills from close range and distance. With a 264 average in ACS, he also tops the league. There are many factors that contributed to the rise and success of these teams. One reason is that the region has access to top talent, proper scouting from various scouting agencies and esports organizations, the competitive nature of the region, and communities with a strong passion for gaming. Their distinct strategic approach to the game is also noteworthy.

In contrast to the wildly divergent figures from EMEA, the statistics on weapon usage in the Americas and the Pacific are generally quite similar. The Phantom and Vandal are almost evenly distributed in the Americas and Pacific, but the Vandal is clearly preferred more in EMEA.

Teams from LATAM and Brazil have yet to lose to North American opponents, further demonstrating the region’s high potential. For instance, the top team in North America, NRG Esports, was defeated by MIBR, one of Brazil’s “average” teams. Additionally, in recent weeks, Leviatan destroyed NRG Esports, and LOUD also defeated Cloud9.

Given that Skye is by far the most popular initiator in VCT Americas, an increase in Frenzy usage could very well be attributed to an increase in Skye usage. Skye prefers quick hits and a more aggressive style of play, which makes it more common to hold corners in post-plants and engage in close-quarters combat, necessitating the use of the Frenzy.
