You’re not the only one who may be wondering how to delete Challenge Tokens from your League profile. After Challenges were introduced to League of Legends in Patch 12.9 by Riot Games, the community’s reactions were divided. While some welcomed the ability to monitor progress over time, others worried that it might degrade the standard of ranked matches. But there was no obvious way in the game to delete Challenge Tokens from your profile. Fortunately, a number of workaround techniques have been found.

In-game removal of challenge tokens is not possible, but there is a workaround.  If you need more information about The best way to modify or get rid of Challenge Tokens from your League profile, then read carefully, and don’t forget to share with your friends.

The best way to modify or get rid of Challenge Tokens from your League profile:

You receive tokens for completing Challenges, and you can always have up to three of them visible on your profile. They give you the chance to display your position among League players in various game-related categories. Tokens are available for practically every aspect of the game, including farming minions and avoiding skill shots so you can get pentakills.

There is a step-by-step tutorial on how to equip and customize your Tokens for those who want to show off to their friends. There are also methods for those who, for whatever reason, want to completely get rid of them. These instructions explain how to change the challenge tokens that are visible on your profile.

  1. Click on your icon in the client’s top right after logging into your account. The “Customize Identity” screen will then be displayed. Options for icons, borders, titles, and banners will be available. The “Tokens” tab is located directly in the center.
  2. It will show all of the tokens you have unlocked once you switch to it. To find particular tokens more quickly, there is a search bar directly beneath the “tokens” tab. It will show you which tokens are currently active to the left of that search bar.
  3. To replace a token, first click on the token you want to use instead, and then choose the token you want to use instead of the ones you’ve unlocked.
  4. The display on the left side of the “Customize Identity” screen should update if everything went according to plan.

Sadly, Riot has made it much more challenging to take off challenge tokens than to put them on. They cannot currently be disabled directly from the client. There are other options available for those who are determined to get the tokens off of their profile. Tokens can be easily removed thanks to an open-source program made by MaciejGorczyca, a GitHub user.

There are ways to get rid of every challenge token from your profile, but they can be cumbersome. First, some players claim that changing their League of Legends nickname caused all of their tokens to disappear from their profile. You could change your name to erase all tokens if you really wanted to, and then change it back. Some players have reported that removing and reinstalling the game reset their challenge tokens as well. There is an easier alternative because all of this is a bit of a hassle.

Open League, then ChallengesAreEvil, and click the “Remove Tokens” button to remove your tokens using this method. As always, use caution when downloading arbitrary executables from the internet. However, because the code is open source, you can examine it for potential security risks on your own.
