Tearmoon Empire TV Anime Set to Premiere in October with More Cast Revealed

The highly-anticipated television anime adaptation of the popular “Tearmoon Empire” light novel series by Nozomu Mochitsuki is finally set to air this coming October. The official website for the anime has announced that it will be airing on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11.

New Cast Members Revealed

In addition to the premiere date, the website also revealed a new key visual for the anime as well as two new cast members. Tomori Kusunoki will be voicing the character of Anne Littstein, while Yuichiro Umehara will be voicing Ludwig Hewitt. The protagonist, Mia Luna Tearmoon, will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka.

Exciting Storyline

The “Tearmoon Empire” story follows a selfish princess named Mia Luna Tearmoon who, after facing her death by guillotine, wakes up as a twelve-year-old with a second chance at life. Determined to right the wrongs that plague her crumbling empire, she enlists the help of her loyal maid Anne and brilliant minister Ludwig to restore the empire. Together, they work tirelessly to change the course of history and bring the continent towards a brighter future.

Creative Team

The anime is being directed by Yūshi Ibe of “The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody” fame, with SILVER LINK serving as the production studio. Deko Akao, the scriptwriter behind “Komi Can’t Communicate” and “The Case Study of Vanitas,” is responsible for the series scripts. Character designs are being handled by Mai Otsuka of “The Demon Girl Next Door” and “Non Non Biyori” fame. The music will be composed by Kōji Fujimoto of sus4 Inc.
