Teamfight Tactics 13.14 B-patch unexpectedly nerfed Taric, Akshan, and other champions

Additionally, Riot had to come up with new strategies for dealing with scaling champions like Senna and Kindred who, without their stacking passives, would be completely useless in Arena.

On July 20, Riot Games will release a Teamfight Tactics 13.14 B-patch, rolling back a number of July 19-lived buffs. The TFT Set Nine champions Taric and Soraka gained more power in Patch 13.14, which was jam-packed with buffs. According to game designer Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer during the 13.14 Patch Rundown, the Taric buff was “likely the single biggest change in the entire patch.”

In an effort to turn Taric into a three-cost tank, his mana and spell shield were both boosted. If you need more information about The TFT 13.14 B-patch unexpectedly nerfed Taric, Akshan, and other champions, then read carefully, and don’t forget to share with your friends.

The game’s designer Riot Kent confirmed for fans on Twitter on July 20 that that shift may have been a little too drastic, as a TFT 13.14 B-patch shipping today now slightly reduces Taric’s shield duration and mana. Many League champions, especially Kayn and Kayle, have stood out as significant outliers during the PBE testing period. Additionally, Riot had to come up with new strategies for dealing with scaling champions like Senna and Kindred who, without their stacking passives, would be completely useless in Arena.

With Patch 13.14, Soraka received another “scary buff,” according to head dev Mortdog. The objective was to turn Soraka from a carry in the early stages of the game into a reroll carrier. During the update, her spell damage was increased, and the 13.14 B-patch will reduce her spell heals power from 200/225/250 to 170/190/220, making her a little bit easier to take out in the late game.

Akshan received a mana and attack damage ratio nerf as well as other TFT nerfs from the 13.14 B-patch. In order to balance things out, Karma’s spell damage was reduced from 180/270/445 to 170/255/420. It is currently unknown when and if the TFT Set Nine evergreen Augment will be enabled again.

The Augment Think Fast has been temporarily disabled. As a result of a bug fix, Caretaker’s Ally now grants its units directly rather than via orbs, and the unit tier was reduced from three to two costs. No additional hotfixes are anticipated before the release of TFT Set Nine Patch 13.15 on August 2, but you can never be too sure in gaming.
