Due to a lot of similarities in the playing style, Battlegrounds Mobile India often gets compared with battle royale formats like Free Fire, Call of Duty Mobile, etc. However, when we look at the popularity of the titles, then Battlegrounds Mobile India enjoys a huge popularity. The game was launched on July 2, 2021 and in just two months, it has over 50 million download.

BGMI, primarily known for its main map based battle royale style fights has an aderent fan following. Meanwhile, Call of Duty fans prefer COD Mobile. This is because a lot of content have been picked up and incorporated from Call of Duty titles.

Battlegrounds Mobile India

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is the India-only version of Battlegrounds Mobile India and was launched on July 2. Since the game was highly anticipated, it has topped a lot of charts on Android since it was initially launched there, and since then has become the top free game.

The minimum required specification for Battlegrounds Mobile India is aphone with 2GB of RAM. The download itself is 749 MB. Additional files can be downloaded after the game is installed on the device. In the current scenaior, once the in-game files are downoaded, the game would take up a minimum download space of 1.5GB.

Currently, Battlegrounds Mobile India has crossed 50 million downloads and has a positive rating of 4.4 stars.

Call of Duty: Mobile

As compared to BGMI, COD Mobile can only be downloaded in a huge file size of 3.2 GB. Phone specifications aslso change as players need to have at least 4 GB of RAM to accommodate a smooth gaming experience.

Even with the 3 GB heavy download, players have to additionallty download a lot of multiplayer maps separately. But the downloads are worth it. CODM has over eight different multiplayer options and more than 30 locations.

COD Mobile currently has over 100 million downloads and has a favorable rating of 4.4 stars.

Both games have their perks as well as downsides. If players want to enjoy a more weapon customization experience, COD Mobile can be the go-to. There are around 35 different maps for multiplayer matches. Players with high-end devices can consider getting CODM.

On the other hand, BGMI clearly enjoys a larger fan base. An enormous user base ensures that there are minimum bots. The matchmaking process is quicker and more accurate. BGMI is a great option for low and medium-end devices as well.

Battlegrounds Mobile India on 90FPS

BGMI was launched in India as a replacement for PUBG Mobile. The game is not very different from the one that was banned in India, barring a few changes. One of the latest features in PUBG Mobile was 90FPS mode and some flagship mobiles can enable this option in Battlegrounds Mobile India, as well.

PUBG Mobile was initially made to be played on the 60FPS mode with slight frame drops. The developers 90FPS for OnePlus devices at first and then launched it globally on other high-end devices.

Call of Duty Mobile can now be played in high quality, on phones that have a 120hz refresh rate. Players will be able to take advantage of this situation and play COD in a thoroughly enjoyable manner. As spotted by several users in the test builds, players can now switch on Ultra settings in Frame Rate so as to have up to 120 FPS of smooth gameplay.

The trade-off is that the graphics quality preset will be locked to Medium – which is pretty fair.
