  • Card stats: One Cost, Two Power
  • Card text: When this is discarded or destroyed, regenerate it at a random location and you get Plus One Energy next turn.

As a one-drop, X-23 should fit in well with just about every Destroy archetype deck you can imagine. She is a card that never dies and always gains from being destroyed by cards like Carnage, Killmonger, Venom, or Deathlok, along with Wolverine, Deadpool, and Sabretooth.

Galactus or Nimrod decks will benefit from her ability to grant energy to play cards on a curve, enabling you to use their potent abilities sooner in the game. Keep in mind, though, that she’s vulnerable to cards like Cosmo and Armor, so keep a lookout.

In Discard decks, where she pairs well with Colleen Wing, she will probably be less effective. However, once she’s on the board, she’s there to stay and can’t be included in a hybrid Discard/Destroy deck for her ability to be used again. X-23 is currently accessible in the spotlight cache for this week or may be purchased in the token shop for 6,000 collector’s tokens.
