Statement giving by Scump on twitter :

I just think… my time and my effort and my energy, all that’s left in my tank from one last season is just my mental… all that stuff. I feel like I have something to give to not only myself, but my teammates, first and foremost, my coaching staff, my wonderful partners, the people I work with at OpTic, and you guys, Greenwall. And have a good year.

Recently, Scump revealed his engagement to his long-term partner, Isabel. In his retirement message, he highlighted that Call of Duty esports is so competitive that there’s little time for anything else, so it’s no surprise that he’s focused more on his home life at this point. To actively withdraw from the competition.
