Sasuke is attacked from behind by Meno, but he manages to avoid. Despite this, Zansru departs, telling Meno to kill Sasuke. Sasuke decides to attempt controlling Men himself as there are no evident methods by which Meno is being controlled. Meno is comforted by his gentle words as he tells him to cool off. Sasuke blocks Meno’s attacks and, upon observing that Meno’s burn from a few days prior hasn’t healed, uses water and wind to ice it. Sasuke lets Meno to bite his arm as he attacks again, seizing the occasion to express sympathy for Meno for being kidnapped from his peaceful afterlife and to offer to restore him there. Sakura arrives and uses her powers to break down a wall, providing a means of escape for the prisoners. She then embarks on a search for Zansūru, the one responsible for reviving the dragons. She encounters prisoners who are hiding from the beasts and assures them of the exit she created. A prisoner named Jiji inquires about the dragons and Sakura explains the situation to him. Jiji then reveals that he had seen Zansūru in the courtyard, providing Sakura with a vital lead in her mission to stop the evil sorcerer.
Sakura is taken aback by the sudden turn of events, as Jiji stabs her in the back with a poisoned blade. She realizes that this was the same poison that affected Sasuke earlier. As she falls to the ground, Jiji takes the polar particles, thanking her for obtaining them for him. It becomes evident that Jiji has been collaborating with Zansūru all along. Despite her weakened state, Sakura tries to retrieve the polar particles, but Jiji apologizes for his actions, stating that she reminds him of his beloved Margo. However, he doesn’t hesitate to strike her with a kick to escape.
Jiji conjures up a massive dragon named the Titan, which creates earthquakes with its steps and causes the building to crumble. Jiji farewells Sakura and rides the Titan, leaving her behind as the building collapses.
