You must delete every console and another item from your Battle.net account in order to merge your accounts. Go to the Battle.net Connections tab and sign in there. After entering your information, you can select the platform to which you want to connect by clicking. Visit the Battle.net Support section if you’re having problems to see if they can help. Before moving on to the merge step, make sure you adjust your console accounts if you would prefer to have them linked to different Battle.net accounts.

Once everything has been linked as necessary, launch Overwatch 2 on your console. Your screen will display a prompt requesting that you use your phone to scan the QR code. When you’re asked to log into Battle.net after that, you must enter the numeric code that appears. To prevent annoying hackers from accessing your account, the process will ask you to add a phone number for text verification.

The next time you log into your Overwatch 2 console account after completing these steps, you will be prompted to confirm the merge. Due to the fact that you can only merge one account from each console platform to your Battle.net account and that the merge cannot be undone, exercise caution. Your accounts will all have the same ranks, cosmetics, stats, and settings after they have been merged.

You will have access to your account history as well as any skins and items you had unlocked in the first Overwatch once you have successfully merged your accounts in Overwatch 2. After merging accounts, players who had unused credits from the first game will also receive Legacy Credits.

For each separate console account you have, repeat this procedure. One Xbox, one PlayStation, and one Nintendo Switch account may be combined with your Battle.net account. However, you cannot combine two Battle.net accounts or two separate PC accounts.
