For both competitive and recreational players, Overwatch 2’s customization options offer the greatest variety in the franchise. Player titles are one of the most recent changes that have been made to the game. When you first log into a match and when you look at players on the scoreboard, these small added descriptions appear in the game.

Many of these player titles require time and effort to obtain, but some are designed to be more difficult. In any case, here’s how to obtain player titles in Overwatch 2, equip them, and display them online. The Challenges tab is where you can start obtaining player titles the quickest. Player titles are one of the many new, custom rewards available in Overwatch 2’s upgraded rewards system. The Competitive tab and the Lifetime tab are the most frequently used sections, though they can be found in other places as well.

Depending on the challenge you attempt to complete, player titles vary, but all challenges that offer a title as a reward will be indicated by a square with a T inside it. For instance, the one shown above rewards the player with the player title of Seasoned Competitor for winning 750 games of Competitive. You can see what each of these challenges’ title rewards will say in-game by hovering your cursor over them. The store may offer player titles in bundles as an alternative to purchasing them separately.

To find out which challenges you’re nearly finished with, go to the challenges menu. These include accomplishments like winning 250 games in all three roles. It’s likely that if you focus on a specific role, you’ve already unlocked one or more new Overwatch 2 Player Titles.

The battle pass might provide titles, whereas the Season 4 pass does not. Equipping player titles is simple once you have them, but you can only do it from the main menu. Go to the Career Profile tab to get started. Go to your Career Profile’s Customization tab to view all of your player icons, name cards, and player titles.

Simply go to your Career Profile in the top right corner of the screen in Overwatch 2 to equip a new Player Title. Then, after clicking Customization, pick a Player Title from the list that appears. When you load into a game, your selected Player Title will now be visible to everyone on the leaderboard. If you go to the player titles, it will list all the titles available, both the ones you have and the ones you don’t. To equip one, simply click on it, then click the Equip button at the bottom of the screen.
